IMPORTANT: We must start by saying that we have never received ANY complaints about the places that are prominently advertised on LCNJ and reviewed extensively like the Nile, Bianky and Tarboosh.  We have eaten at all the places we advertise and felt safe, and enjoyed the cleanliness, the good hygiene and customer service.

Scandals

After receiving complaints about Lebanese, Arabic or Middle Eastern restuarants and nightclubs, we realized that the picture is much darker with the shameless lack in hygiene and other violations and unethical practices that affect the health of the consumer.

Consumer Beware!... A reminder that the videos above must be a "representation" of the violations committed by food businesses in your area that choose to engage in such lack of cleanliness with disregard of the health of the consumer.  Many complaints have been filed from consumers like you who have observed such lack of hygiene and cleanliness in addition to other customer service complaints.

We have received complaints about Lebanese, Arabic and Middle Eastern places from NY to NV and CA, that, after serving vegetables or incomplete meals to one table of customers, they secretly "re-use" them, washed or unwashed on another table of different customers.

Other complaints against Lebanese, Arabic and Middle Eastern places, include:

• adding few dollars here and there to checks

• servers and/or food preparers spitting, urinating or putting feces in the food of a customer they may not like

• food that falls on the floor" served to customers

• allowing a food preparer who has the flu or stomach virus to prepare food and contaminate customers who got sick as a result

• seeing filthy (very filthy) bathrooms

• filthy and unlearned kitchen the day after a weekend or a major holiday

• tables with unclean spots

• giving one customer a "soda" drink in an "unwashed" glass that tastes the remnants of "vodka" from the customer before him.

Such complaints are a reality and cannot be disregarded.
