What is the Meaning of Life? In my search for Truth and understanding, I asked a few people this week one of Life's most unanswerable questions and that is "What is the Meaning of Life... for you personally"? After a period of silence and headshaking that extended from few seconds to close to a minute, I got the following answers:
Now, I ask you... "In one sentence... What is the Meaning of Life for you"? - Click Here to respond
The Complete Story of Nancy Ajram Current Situation in Lebanon
Contrary to the "gloomy" picture I got from Michel when he returned from Lebanon in March, Katia who lives in beautiful Kesrwan, gave me a renewed faith in the current situation and the resilience of the Lebanese people. While the demonstrations are still taking place in Martyr Square, the Lebanese are now attending concerts in huge numbers only a kilometer down the road... They are now going out, having fun à la Libanaise, and enjoying their "joie de vivre" regardless of the uncertainty and political turmoil. More Power to Lebanon... and God bless the Lebanese!... A Senseless Murder at VA Tech
The three were Reema Samaha, 18, and Ross Alameddine, 20, both Lebanese and Waleed Shaalan, 32, from Egypt. Rima was from Khinshara which is near Baskinta, Bickfaya, and Choueir. The entire Lebanese and Arab Community mourns such senseless loss of life. May God bring peace and healing to all those suffering from this horrific tragedy. Our thoughts and prayers go to the families of all 32 victims and the family of Cho Seung-Hui. May all who passed rest in peace and may God have mercy on Cho Seung-Hui for "he knew not what he has done".... and may God Almighty spare us all such senseless tragedies of life. In memory of a young Lebanese life cut short, Reema made it to the Beautiful Lebanese Women Section so she can in death, as in life, be a symbol of Lebanese beauty and innocence lost. Her picture remained until the end of April 2007, in honor of her memory. Fragile

What s Right... Not Popular Katelynn Johnson, a sociology-psychology major student at VA-tech, said moral responsibility led her to add a stone for gunman Seung-Hui Cho to a memorial for his 32 shooting victims. "My family did not raise me to do what is popular," she wrote in a letter to the campus newspaper. "They raised me to do what is morally right. We did not lose only 32 students and faculty members that day; we lost 33 lives." Johnson said she feared a backlash from students after adding a stone for the killer to the memorial. But she said that the feedback since the letter was published has been largely positive. The Moral of the story: How many, in our Lebanese Community, will choose to do what is right especially when it is unpopular... and how many others will choose to continue life like Flunkoo?
