I asked God: "Why is there so much war, pain and suffering in God's World?... Why don't you send some help?"

And God answered: "I did send help... I sent you!"...

The Moral: God has sent you... for a reason!... Just remember that!... and live by it...

God is watching

The school children were lined up in the cafeteria of a Catholic elementary school for lunch. At the head of the table was a large pile of apples. The nun had made a note posted on the apple tray, "Take only one. God is watching."

Moving further along the lunch line, at the other end of the table was a large pile of chocolate chip cookies. One little child whispered to another, "Hey... I think we're fine right here... take all you want... God is watching the apples."

Chinese Minister Sentenced to Death

China's former Minister of Food and Drug Administration was sentenced to death Tuesday for taking bribes to approve substandard medicines.

While we do not necessarily like to see such an unusually harsh punishment implemented in Lebanon, it would be more effective to implement laws that will criminalize and simply ban from politics any public official who chooses to do what is wrong, takes bribes and robs public money. In the same token, Politicians who choose to do what is right must be honored.
