Publishers' Note:
Cordialement, Safouen"

U.S. troops who have helped prepare Iraqi troops, have been withdrawn permanently from Iraq in 2007 and more would be returning home in the coming months, a total withdrawal of 20,000 troops.
Eloquently speaking of “the fierce urgency of Now!”… of "hope"… of "unity"...
of "common purpose"...
Arriving “fresh” to a weary nation disheartened by Clinton fatigue, Bush-Cheney fatigue, a never ending war in Iraq, a health insurance crisis, a mortgage crisis, record high oil prices, a crumbling dollar, and alienation of the U.S. in many parts the world, Obama shines through like a breath of fresh air with whom Americans, both democrats and republicans alike, seem to connect with. Unlike McCaine, he is youthful, inspiring and charismatic… Unlike the “polarizing” Hilary Clinton, Barack speaks of unity, common purpose, and a new day in Washington with sincerity, eloquence and influence… Like the “Reagan Democrats”, we now see “Obama Republicans”… Barack was born on August 4, 1961 in Honolulu, to a Muslim Kenyan father, Barack Obama, Sr., and a white Baptisr mother, Stanley Ann Dunham of Wichita, Kansas. Obama’s father left when Obama was 2.Obama's parents met at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. They married in 1960, when Ann was 18, then separated in 1963, when Barack was two years old, and later divorced in 1965. His father went to Harvard University to pursue Ph.D. studies, then returned to Kenya, where he died in an auto accident in 1982. His mother married Lolo Soetoro, an Indonesian Muslim, and the family moved to Soetoro's home country in 1967. Obama attended local schools in Jakarta from ages 6 to 10, where classes were taught in the Indonesian language. He then returned to Honolulu to live with his maternal grandparents, Madelyn and Stanley Dunham, while attending Punahou School from the 5th grade until his graduation in 1979. Obama's mother died of ovarian cancer in 1995. Something about the "black and white" and the "Muslim and Christian" in Barrack will somehow be seen as a sign of unity in the U.S. and around the world. Unlike his predecessors, Obama will receive a special welcome everywhere in the world, and, like Reagan, even foes, like Iran and the Islamic radicals, will be more likely to admire him, like him and cooperate with him.
It no secret that the
desire for change is overwhelming... and the tides of change are on Obama's
side...
