Words of Wisdom

simple!... The Lebanese will start earning respect in the world when they
start respecting themselves and each other... in everything

I receive, all year round,
numerous calls from delightful Lebanese from the four corners of the
world... but something is worth mentioning here...
Just over the past two months, I
received calls from Michelle, a delightful 25 year old young Lebanese
female in NYC, whose family is in Florida and who knows no Lebanese here
other than me. She volunteered to help organize a Lebanese Get

I also received calls from
Joumana, yet another friendly Lebanese female who simply does not see any
other Lebanese because of her circumstances but is dying to be with other
Lebanese.
On Saturday evening, 1/27, at

pretty Lebanese female who said that she is climbing up the walls as she
has nothing to do and that she has not gone out in 4 months. She
asked me what I was doing and I told her that I had prior commitments with
my little daughter.
My friend Nathalie recently
whispered in my ear that she fondly remembers the time when we all got
together and I played the guitar and sang Lebanese and French songs (of
course, Nathalie by Gilbert Bécaud always included by special request)...
My Friend Elie and Roula as well
as my friend Docteur Adib keep telling that we must revive the Lebanese
get togethers.
What on earth is going on? Every
Lebanese wants to be with everyone else and no one does anything proactive
to be with everyone else.
As I said, I was very successful
organizing them in the past but the majority of the burden fell on me and
few others.... So, I will restart the
