Association of SOS Children's Villages is a non-governmental organization that
was established in 1969. In the context of the UN Convention on the Rights of
the Child, it responds to children's needs by providing 1) family-based child
care for children without parental care and 2) family strengthening programs
aimed at preventing child abandonment.
